Zlapped: Hey guys, and welcome to episode 40. Today’s question is by JeffSimply.
JeffSimply asks, “Dear Zlapped, what were the first computer games you played as a kid/teen? And when did you notice you were very good at them (that is, if you were good at all computer games and not just HoN?)”
As I mentioned on my stream multiple times, the first game I played was with my mom. It was called (?), it was a Swedish reality show about people going to a castle and doing a bunch of stupid shit. I don’t actually remember everything. But yeah, that was the first game I played.
After the first game after that that I remember was Age of Empires 1.
I started knowing I was good at games when I became a tiny little bit older, because I completely destroyed all of my friends in any game I played. And I was very even with my cousins at the time, but when I grew larger I started dominating them as well. And ultimately it turned out that I was simply just overall above average in games in general.
And then, of course, came the day where I started playing HoN, and the game just clicked with me. And, instead of just being above average or very good, I was a lot better than I expected. And I have constantly improved since then. And that is what brought me to where I am today. So, I first noticed it in school when I started playing with friends and such. And my first game I remember playing against friends and stuff was Runescape. Which is a very bad example, but anyway…
